About Impact Revolution
We aim to provide fun, safe and engaging football sessions which are specifically targeted to develop your child’s technical ability and 1v1 development.
We do this by allowing your child to spend time with the football in either unopposed (ball each), 1v1 or small-sided game practices whilst encouraging them to stay on the ball. This will help your child to solve a wider range of problems as their confidence and ability with the ball will improve.
We foster an inclusive environment and welcome children of different ages and abilities. Our mixed age and ability session creates an environment that appropriately supports and challenges each player.
Our sessions run every Wednesday in term time and are on astroturf.
MATCHES
Our Impact sessions are not part of a formal league but offer a unique games programme to help players implement what they’ve practised in training.
Opponents are selected carefully to ensure that all players are playing at the correct and challenging level.
For players who have displayed a rapid rate of development, we invite them to play against professional academies. Our academy opponents include: Arsenal, Tottenham, West Ham, QPR, Watford, Stevenage, MK Dons, Cambridge United, Norwich City, Liverpool, Lincoln City
For the rest of our players, we organise either in-house games or matches against other grassroots teams.

technique and saq's
SAQ is a system of training aimed at the development of motor abilities and the control of body movement through the development of the neuromuscular system. It aims to improve the athlete’s ability to perform explosive multi-directional movements by reprogramming the neuromuscular system to work effectively.
SAQ training is an acronym for Speed Agility and Quickness training.
game understanding
One of the big changes that has happened in football is the importance of intelligence in the modern game.
The fast, tactical and dynamic nature of football today means that smart players are usually also the better ones on the pitch. But what makes a player smart?
What are those details that make all the difference in top-flight football in the present times?
positional awareness
Positional play is a principle of play in football that many of the world’s top coaches adopt. When a team uses positional play, the players take up positions to attempt to create numerical advantages in passing triangles or diamonds, in the hope of progressing possession through the thirds.
All players in the team must follow strict rules about the positions they take up in relation to the their teammates, the opposition and the ball.
