About Futsal Revolution
Futsal is the FIFA-recognised form of small-sided indoor football. It is played between two teams who each have five players on the pitch at any one time, with rolling substitutes and a smaller ball that is harder, heavier and less bouncy.
The small amount of space means players must have great technique and skill. All young players can benefit from playing Futsal regularly as it improves decision-making and speed of footwork. The positive impact of Futsal on regular youth football is immeasurable. Many of our high-quality players all played Futsal in their early football years.
Futsal helps develop our players’ ability in 1v1 situations, but also to learn the first steps of team play – such as combining with individuals, dealing with overloads + underloads, and defending (both individually and as a team).
We provide a Futsal opportunity for all young players.
Our sessions are on Monday evenings, in an indoor venue and on a hardcourt surface. Players need flat shoes to train.
MATCHES
Just like at Impact, we offer a unique games programme.
We are not part of a league, but organise matches against academies and grassroots teams.
We often play against teams older than us, to challenge our technical ability against a more physical opposition.
Futsal allows players to problem-solve different footballing scenarios, for example:
Underload – Playing with one player less than the opposition. Identify the best ways to deal with this common scenario.
Overload – Playing with one extra player than the opposition. Identify the best ways to convert this advantage into goals.
Both scenarios happen very frequently in Futsal due to the fast-paced nature of the sport.

Fast. Fun. Skillful
fast-paced and exciting
Technical skills
Futsal is a great way to improve your technical skills, such as dribbling, passing, and shooting. The smaller space and limited time on the ball force you to make quick decisions and be more accurate with your skills.
Tactical awareness
Futsal also helps you develop your tactical awareness. You need to be aware of your teammates and opponents at all times, and make decisions about where to move and how to support your team.
Physical fitness
Futsal is a great way to get in shape. The fast-paced nature of the game requires you to be constantly moving, and the smaller space means you have to be more agile and quick.
In addition to these benefits, futsal can also help you develop your social skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
